CFO Reinhard Mayer Moves On

Chief Financial Officer of Hansgrohe SE Leaves en Route to New Industry
Schiltach, May 2021. The Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Reinhard Mayer (53), will resign from his position on the Executive Board of Hansgrohe SE as of May 31, 2021 and move on to a listed company in Europe.

Reinhard Mayer joined Hansgrohe SE as CFO in October 2017 and has since successfully developed the finance and controlling organization. Mayer, who holds a degree in industrial engineering, orientated himself towards finance and controlling early on in his career, and he subsequently has more than 25 years of experience in this field to date. Before joining Hansgrohe SE, Mayer spent 15 years in various management positions at the listed Swedish Getinge Group, most recently as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the Group's headquarters in Gothenburg. Now, the proven financial expert's next career step will take him back to a listed company abroad.

"We would like to thank Reinhard Mayer very much for his successful work in recent years," Klaus F. Jaenecke, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hansgrohe SE, commented on Mayer's decision. "Beyond his achievements in the finance and controlling fields, Reinhard Mayer has also been instrumental in the development of strategic projects such as Green Company, the Digital business unit and the Hansgrohe Operating System," Jaenecke continued. "His successfully established M&A strategy, which recently led to the acquisition of ESS (Easy Sanitary Solutions), also speaks for itself. The entire Supervisory Board regrets the decision and wishes Reinhard Mayer and his family all the best, much luck and continued success in his new position."

Frank Semling (54) remains a member of the Executive Board as Chief Operations Officer and Labor Director, as does Christophe Gourlan (48) as Chief Sales Officer. Hans Jürgen Kalmbach (46) also remains unchanged as Chairman of the Executive Board, taking over the duties and areas of the CFO on an interim basis. "The entire Supervisory Board looks forward to continuing constructive and trusting cooperation with the Executive Board, and is already on the lookout for a suitable successor to Reinhard Mayer," says Jaenecke.
