Martial Gil New Chief Financial Officer - André Wehrhahn Departs Hansgrohe Group

Chief Financial Officer Departs on June 30

Schiltach, June 2024. André Wehrhahn (54), Chief Financial Officer, will step down from his position on the Executive Board of Hansgrohe SE on June 30, 2024.

André Wehrhahn joined Hansgrohe SE in October 2021 and has since successfully developed the finance and controlling organization. Previously, the business administration graduate with more than 20 years of experience, was CFO at Faber Castell AG.

“We would like to thank André Wehrhahn very much for his successful work in recent years,” comments Klaus F. Jaenecke, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hansgrohe SE, on Wehrhahn's decision. “In addition to his achievements in finance and controlling, André Wehrhahn has also been instrumental in driving forward the development of strategic projects such as the introduction of S/4 HANA,” Jaenecke continued. “The entire Supervisory Board regrets the decision and wishes André Wehrhahn continued success and best wishes for him and his family.”

Martial Gil (54) was born in France and has held various management positions at Hansgrohe for more than 20 years. The mathematician and business economist began his career in the Hansgrohe Group in 2002 as Financial Controller for the subsidiary in France. Previously, from 1995 to 2002, he was Financial Controller for the French toy manufacturer MGM Toys. In 2010, Martial Gil became Managing Director of Hansgrohe's French subsidiary. Most recently, Martial Gil was Vice President Sales for the Middle East, Africa, CIS and Latin America, a position in which his international expertise has flourished, in addition to his finance and controlling expertise.

Frank Semling (57) will remain a member of the Management Board as Chief Operations Officer and Deputy Chairman, as will Christophe Gourlan (51) as Chief Sales Officer. Sandra Richter (49) remains unchanged as Chief Human Resources Officer, as does Hans Jürgen Kalmbach (49) as Chairman of the Management Board. “The entire Supervisory Board is looking forward to continuing its constructive and trusting collaboration with the Executive Board and wishes Martial Gil all the best in his new role as CFO,” says Jaenecke, looking ahead.
